I never owned a Sabian before. But this may be my first. It's a
Memphis 21" AAX and it sure sounds nice.

Sounds great; I think that would fit right in with my setup. I want
one! :-)

As a cymbal-holic and cymbal dealer, I have a few comments about your
cymbal.
The cymbal in the video sounds great, but is that the exact cymbal
you'd be getting? That is, did you go to the store and hear that
particular cymbal. Because if you're buying online, you might be
getting another of the same model and size, and no two cymbals sound
the same.
However, if it is the same cymbal, it's a good one and I'd say go
ahead. It seems as it's both a great ride and great big crash,
something that's hard to come by.
I invite you and everyone on the list to check out my site at
www.brandontrading.com. I have an extensive number of Dream Cymbals,
each with individual sound files. I've also just gotten a pile of used
cymbals -- Sabian, Zildjian, Istanbuls, and will be posting them in
the next week. If you're interested in being notified, email me back
and I'll be glad to include you in my first round of emails.
Dream Cymbals are the most consistent brand I've heard. With
Zildjians, Sabians or the others, I might tolerate 3 out of 10, and
might actually 1 out of 10. With Dream Cymbals, I've rarely found one
that was not at least interesting, and I usually can pick 5 out of 10
that I'd willingly use on a gig.
Listen to my comments and to my own personal choices of cymbals. If
you think I'm onto something, give me a call. I'm always good for a
cymbal talk.
