No, but I would certainly want to before plunking down $650 for it. Eek.

Looks like a well engineered (and branded) version of the Axis pedal.

Tod Sucherman's commentary is amusing because he tries to emphasize how
great the pedal is by saying "what you play is what your hear".....
Well, duh! Unless you have a hearing problem, you will always _hear_
what you _play_.
I think what he meant was "what you hear in your mind is what you are
able to play"...

$650!!! LOL.

About 90% of the time I play an old DW strap pedal with a felt
beater. Those guys are playing more bass drum hits in about a minute
than I usually play all night. Me getting one of these pedals would
be like driving a Formula I car to the store to buy a gallon of milk.

I think Sucherman's comment about "what you play is what you hear" is
actually exactly what he meant to say, cos he said the same thing a
couple of times. I think the point he's making is that the pedal is
very sensitive and very accurate -- there's no "loss of information"
due to sloppiness or unresponsiveness in the pedal.

So, in my case, you would hear a nice solid thump on 1 and 3, loud and
clear, every time. :)

Just tried one the other day. Feels nice and light, very responsive. The
u-joints have an external ring like the Trick pedal does which will
hopefully reduce the play as the joints wear. I'd be glad to buy a set - but
not at $650 :-)
