I recently finished up another drum I've been working on. This one is a
20"x15" bass drum constructed from Black Walnut:

Here are some pictures of the various jigs I used to build it:

Now I just need to build the rest of the drums so I'll have a full set to play!

Aw shucks... thanks! And yes, it *does* sound pretty freakin' outstanding.
It's been a long time since I've played a 20" kick, and I'm looking forward to
building the rest of the kit. It's been a long time since I've played a 14x14"
floor tom too; I think I'll tackle that one next. :-)

Wow, building a stave drum is WAY more ambitious than anything I'd try.
Hell, I'm just trying to figure out a rig to recut my bearing edges to an
outside rounded cut.

But looking at your jigs has given me some ideas on that, thanks!
