Nice $100 snare?

I want to get a snare to leave on a steady gig because I'm tired of
bringing one every night. Thievery is a very remote but possible
scenario so I want something cheap but of course, good.
I keep thinking of the Music Yo snares from several years ago. If I
remember correctly, they were wood Slingerlands and people seemed to
really like them for the price. That's what I imagine I want.
Anything on the market right now that fits that bill?
Thanks.

A used Pearl Sensitone can be found for 100 bucks.
Heck... sometimes they close them out, new, for not much more.

A used B&O Ludwig Acrolite is another good choice.

I agree with Glenn. The Acrolite is an ugly drum that theives won't
bother with yet it sounds great and the P-85 is super reliable. Those
music Yo snares were OK but I question the quality of the throw offs
those things had. I had a brass one that sounded good but I ended up
selling it. Good luck.

I loved this snare and miss it:

Could probably find it even cheaper used. Nice warm tone, lots of pop.
