Anybody using these?

Looks like a pretty nifty device.

I haven't used those, but I do use regular old rubber grommets on some
of my non-crash cymbals because it's so much easier to just drop them on
and lift them off the stand. Same principle.

I only used rubber grommets once, they lasted 1 day. But convenient as
all heck.
I am using the Grombal thing, lasting over 1 year so far and still
going, very durable.
Rubber grommets were too small, needed felts and a tightened wingnut
to keep
the cymbal from banging on the support washer. With the grombal I use
nothing
else and they do fine. Doesn't hurt the sound at all. Definitely worth
a try imho.

FWIW to the 4 people who still read this newsgroup....

not all rubber grommets are the same and they come in many sizes. Note,
I said non-crash cymbals, too. When I used the proper size grommet, they
don't do any of the things you describe.
