I saw at NAMM this past week, Off Set Bass Drum Pedal. Some drummers
at NAMM has some really fast feet on this double bass drum pedal and
it makes the setup of the hit hat pedal a lot easier to set up. I
going to get one when I get some cash. You also face the drum set face
forward not at a angle like usual.

This is a fast pedal, some guys were doing double stoke rolls and
sextuplets runs on this double pedal really fast.

If your looking for a fast feet on bass you might want to check it.

I would think the floor tom would get in the way of your right leg, and
the snare stand would be difficult to place at best, unless you had a
boom snare stand like the Taye model. The boom snare stand I think
would have a tendency to rock and maybe even tip over against heavy
hitters.

I suppose you can put the snare in between your legs as usual, just
take some getting used to I guess.

Looks to me like the set-up wouldn't change so much as just the
location of the kick drum. I play with my mounted toms on a stand to
the left of the kick anyway, so this would just move the kick back
under the toms again like the rest of the world. I would still keep
my ride between the mounted toms and the floor tom. :-)
