I did go ahead and buy the Pearl 9 x 14 snare. I am Very happy with
it. It is a beautiful machine. Here's a look...

I have also been looking at the Gretsch Maple with the beautiful
contoured wood hoops. Well...I didn't get that. I got this sweet
Pacific for less than I could order hoops alone. Wood hoops...Ten
Lugs...Sounds Great...Take a look.

How are the snare beds? I have run across a Pacific snare that had no
beds whatsoever.
