Enjoy!
http://www.dunnett.com/r4.html
I'm pleased to provide everyone at drumsmith.com with a preview of the
new Dunnett R4.0 (micRo) throw off. The R4 has many improvements over
the current R Class throw off. Owing to the new design the R4.0 has
fewer parts, is lighter and will now fit on 4" deep snare drums. Other
features include a user adjustable friction control for the snare
tension control and the swivel lever. The mounting track has been
modified to allow it to be fitted to shells of various thickness
without need for special fasteners - handy for manufacturers who make
shells of different or thicker dimensions. Because of the reduced size
and the use of lighter casting materials the weight of the R.40 is
substantially lighter than the current R Class.
Further details and the official release date is pending, but I expect
the new model will be making an appearance at the 2010 NAMM show.
