Green eyed lady

Trying to figure out the intro to "Green Eyed Lady" Not sure how much is
coming from the bass and what is coming from the kick drum. Should I be
doing the snare accents with my left or right hand? Must be some kind of
mental block. Any hints please?

Post the time marks on this video you are having trouble with. Bass
drum sounds pretty clear to me. It's a repeating pattern.

Kick pattern is (2)&(3)&(4) 1& (2)&(3)&(4)& 1 repeat 3x then two
measures of offbeat kicks, repeat 8 bar pattern.
