I need this part:
3-11
HB850HN8T
Bolt, washer, spring & hex-nut assembly

It is for the faulty bolt for the HT511 throne. "First Chair" I think it's called.
The Tama web site is great for showing all the models and parts, but I can't find a contact # anywhere.
Anyone know how to get one of these?
Thanks.

Call Forks drum closet or any Tama dealer if you need to order it fresh.
However, those are very common parts that could be cannibalized from
another stand. The both is a simple 8mm and could be found at any
hardware store. The extended nut can be found on about a bazillion
Tama/Gibraltar rack clamps. Just about every used music store has a
bucket of those rack parts and are likely to have at least a half dozen
of those nuts in it. :-)

Having said that, I might suggest an modification. Go to a hardware
store and get a hardened 8mm bolt and matching hardened (or stainless)
nut with a nylon insert. This will accomplish two things. It will be
plenty strong and never strip out. It will stay where you set it and
not slip loose or tight in transport, so all you'll know that you only
have to tighten the wingnut to attach the seat and not worry about where
the other is set.

Hey Keith,

If you're still in the area you can try Atlanta Pro Percussion - they do
have a lot of spare parts in stock.
