Can somebody tell me something about these drums. I've been looking for
a 26" kick drum for a long time. They're pretty hard to come by here in
Finland. I found a set and the guy might be willing to sell the kick
separately. He's asking $150 for it. Worth it?

Ha, ha.. There was a lot of great drummers who use Wood Fiberglass. One of the best in my world was mr. Butch Milles with Count Basie Orchestra. Check youtube "Count Basie in Tivoli" I do have a couple of drum kit. My no1 are Ludwig 3 ply. but my Pearl Wood fiberglass from 76" sounds better for pop/Disco than my Tama Birch. A good adwise. Tune them low.

Ha, I see the original post is 2001.
Love my red fiberwoods...deep, loud drums. Tuned right, they sound great.
