In recent years, I've become a big fan of electronic Lounge, "Chillout", and
Downtempo music. My g/f is from Manhattan and she turned me onto this great
type of vibey music, when we first started dating 5 years ago. It's great
music to play as background music at a cocktail party and it really sets a
cool, relaxing but fun and even danceable vibe. I can't stop using the word
'vibe', mainly because that's what the music is all about.

Even though I don't listen to the music from the standpoint of a musician,
but rather as a casual listener, I can't help but notice there are tons of
great grooves and musical ideas that inspire me as a musician.

If you're interested, here are a few artists/DJ's/compilations. Google or
YouTube them:

Thievery Corporation
St. Germain (mostly live instruments (and/or sampled live loops), jazzy
vibe, check out the CD "Tourist" or look 'em up on YouTube
)
San Francisco Under a Groove
Hotel Costes
Stephane Pompougnac

Check it.

Try Googling "vagina". Better yet, just look in a mirror.

And I, unfortunately, remember you. To your credit, at least you've proven
to be a literate troll. What made you come back after such a long (and
welcome) absence?

Well Chris, I just came back to give you folks a hard time. I still
have my great sounding Chinese Rogers kit, which I have been playing
wide open for the past three years, just so I can hear the ring.
