I havent bought a kit since 1991. I wanted this kit because I wanted
something I could set up quickly and I just played a Ludwig kit with
these same shells and it sounded like John Bonhams drums. My old
Rogers and Gretsch kits are pains in the ass to setup so I got this:

in my favorite color too.:-)

Nice kit man. Now you need a 16" FT to complete it.
I love 20" bass drums, a lot more versitle than people think.
Happy playin!!

Its an 18" bass drum by 20" deep. Not happy with the size. I am going
to see how it sounds. I wanted at least a 20. I just assumed it was a
20. Oh well live and learn.

Its a 20. the diameter looks small due to its depth. Not used to an
18 ' deep bass drum I guess.

Hah should see my 20x20! Takes some geting used to visually, then
tuning is weird too. Wants to be tensioned way tighter than you would
be comfortable with, but it works.

Good luck!

I love Ludwig's green sparkle. The old Swivo Rogers legs are a pain.
"Where the #% is my drum key!" I do like the Rogers swivo tom mount though.
It's as easy as any modern setup if it's in good shape.

Sweet-ass looking kit, Mike. I'm playing all Luddy again, just like I
was when I came to RMMP about 10 years ago. Fooled around with Sonors
and Starclassics for a long time (great drums) but getting back to the
Luddies was like coming home.

Enjoy!
